In this practical workshop, we will delve into the details of everyday walking patterns and the postural organisation underlying those patterns, examining alternative methods for alleviating foot dysfunctions including flat arches, plantar fasciitis and bunions. Participants will learn how to adjust the whole body balance and coordination to walk easily and to heal their feet.

The School has been running a residential course annually for 25 years, except for 2020 which was cancelled due to the coronavirus. In addition to our Melbourne trainees, it has been attended by trainees from other training courses, and Alexander teachers. If you have had prior experience in the Alexander technique you may make an application to attend the course.
